Organization Hacks Small Bedroom
1.Under The Bed Storage
Organizing a small bedroom can be challenging. Especially when you have little to no storage space to work with. This is where this genius organization hack will come in handy. I’m talking about the space under your bed!
This under the bed drawer is a great way to add a ton more storage to your bedroom and get organized. You can store clothing, shoes, extra bedding, kids’ toys, books, and so much more.
I have an entire post about under the bed storage solutions here. Check it out for more ideas!
2. Over the Door Organizers
Okay, so this one is not exclusive to bedroom organization. You can use these in any room with a door. But if you use them for a bedroom, these are great to organize purses, shoes, gym clothes, accessories, pajamas, and socks. I mean, I can go on and on.
Over-the-door organizers are seriously a perfect way to add extra storage to any bedroom without creating more clutter or taking up precious floor space.
3. Over The Door Clothes Organizer Rack
Can you tell I like over-the-door organizers? Haha! It’s because they are seriously genius! They are not only helpful for organizational purposes, but they are such space savers too!
This over-the-door clothes organizer rack is the perfect solution for someone who doesn’t have closet space or needs additional hanging space to organize their clothes. You can mount this to your closet door super easily and it holds a good amount of clothes too. This would also be especially useful for someone living in a single, dorm room, or shared bedroom.
4. Narrow Nightstand With Storage
Usually, nightstands are very wide and/or have very little storage space. So if you are working with limited floor space, I would go for a more narrow, tall nightstand with a lot of storage space
The narrow nightstand will save your floor space and the extra storage will be perfect for organizing bedding, nighttime essentials, socks, etc.
5. Over The Door Hat Storage
Do you have a lot of hats and nowhere to store and organize them? Then you need this over-the-door hat organizer in your life!
We had a similar one to this one back when we lived in an apartment for my son and husband’s hats and it was seriously the best way to organize hats without taking up too much space.
6. Portable Clothes Hanging Rack
I know when you’re dealing with a small bedroom, the closet space is usually lacking or none existing. Especially if it’s a shared bedroom.
Here is a great solution for that. Add a stylish portable clothes hanging rack (or two) and you’ve got yourself a closet where you can nicely organize all your clothes, shoes, etc, and keep it all off the floors! 😉
7. Bedside Storage Organizer
Looking for bedroom organization hacks that seriously save you a lot of space? Try a bedside organizer and organize all your bedtime and morning essentials right on the side of your bed.
This would be perfect if you can’t fit a nightstand in your bedroom. Or if you already have a nightstand but it doesn’t have much storage and you don’t want to get a new one, well give this a try instead! Much more affordable and it’ll be hidden by your bedding, so don’t worry, it won’t be an eyesore. I’ve used them to hold our phones, TV remote, etc.

8. Store Seasonal Items Into Large Bins
Use large bins to store seasonal clothing out of your closet.
We have always had pretty small closets and over the years; I have found that rotating clothing by the season is a must in order to keep our closets clutter-free and organized. I typically use this hack in my kids’ closets and it helps keep their closets organized and current with what fits them. Seriously, one of my all-time favorite storage hacks.
So if you are someone who has a lot of clothes and a small closet, you should definitely give this hack a try.
9. Stackable Containers For Shoes
Take advantage of the vertical space in your closet and organize your shoes into stackable containers. These drawer shoe organizers or these clear shoe boxes are seriously both GENIUS and both will not only keep your shoes organized but also dust-free!
10. Space Saving Clothes Hangers
Double or triple the space in your closet with these space saving clothes hangers. These will help create more hanging space in your closet, which will allow you to better organize your clothes by color, type, or whatever way makes most sense to you.
11. Hanging Shelf
Get your closet extra organized with this hanging shelf organizer. I use this exact one in my son’s closet and use it as an addition to his dresser. It can store and keep organized pajamas, sweaters, jeans, etc. The side mesh pockets are perfect for sunglasses and smaller accessories.
12. None Slip Space Saving Hangers
If you are sick of your jeans and pants rolling off your regular hangers or tired of the hangers bending from the weight of your jeans, you need to switch to these types of hangers asap!
And not only do the jeans actually stay on the hangers, but these hangers also allow you to hang several jeans/pants on the same hanger, which saves you a ton of space. You also can organize and group your jeans/pants by color, type, etc.
13. Velvet Hangers
Have you made the switch to velvet hangers yet? Last year I started switching all our hangers to these velvet ones and wow do they look so much better! If you haven’t made the switch, I highly recommend it. They keep your clothes from slipping off the hangers and make your closet look so much tidier.
Sam’s Club has velvet hangers for pretty cheap. If you have the membership, definitely grab them from there.
14. Shelf Dividers
Do you store clothes on the shelves in your closet? Then you will definitely benefit from these shelf dividers. These shelf dividers will help keep your clothes from falling over and will keep your clothes nicely stacked. Great for organizing your jeans, sweaters, purses, towels, etc. And because it is clear you could hardly see the divider, however, your clothing will still look super organized up on the shelf.
Organization Hacks For Kitchen
15. Use Turntables Everywhere
I seriously sound like a broken record because I am always saying this! Ha-ha! But turntables are one of my favorite organizational products. Because they are just GENIUS and very useful literally in any space. Use turntables to organize under your kitchen sink, pantry, refrigerator, spices, high shelves, and cornered shelves. Um, basically everywhere. Thank me later! 😉
16. Stackable Water Bottle Organizer
If you are drowning in water bottles and shaker bottles like me, try organizing your water bottles and /or shaker bottles with stackable bottle organizers. They are stackable, which means you can fit way more bottles in one central space. And they are still super easy to grab when on the go.
17. Organize Spices
Decant your spices (if you want) into matching canisters and eliminate visual clutter. Not only is it more pleasing to the eye to have matching canisters, but it also saves you space. Especially if you have a lot of spices.
Spices come in all kinds of different sizes and packaging, so it’s kind of hard to organize them in a way that doesn’t look messy or cluttered. So switching them into matching canisters solves that problem. You can buy your favorite spices in bulk and refill the canisters as needed, and store the backstock spices in your pantry.
18. Organize Your Junk Drawer
Just because it’s a junk drawer doesn’t mean it has to be disorganized, right? I think junk drawers are inevitable, they just are. But I also think a junk drawer can be a junk drawer while still being organized. There can definitely be a method to the madness, right?
So if you have been wanting to organize your junk drawer, try these drawer organizers. They come in a variety of sizes, so they are perfect for organizing miscellaneous items.

19. Cutting boards Over The Door Organizer
I know there are so many beautiful cutting boards out there that are actually nice and you probably won’t mind using them as decor and leaving them out on your countertops.
However, if you are anything like me and you have the most basic cutting boards that are just an eyesore to have out, then get yourself one of these cutting boards over the cabinet organizer to store and organize your cutting boards. You can easily mount it inside one of your cabinet doors.
20. Magnetic Spice Rack
Need a little more storage space in your kitchen? Then grab yourself one of these magnetic spice racks. But you don’t have to use it for spices only. You can use it for whatever you want.
For example, if you have your coffee station by your fridge, you can use this to hold your coffee, tea, etc. Or you can mount it to the side of your stove too. It also comes with hooks.
21. Pull Out Cabinet Drawer
If you have super deep cabinets in your kitchen you know how annoying it is to get to the stuff in the back. Especially deep cabinets in a pantry. Install a pull-out cabinet drawer so that you can easily pull it out when you need to reach items in the back. This would be great for under the sink, deep pantry cabinets, or just deep cabinets anywhere in the kitchen in general. This will allow you to make use of the entire cabinet shelf as well as have easy access to your items.
If you rent and installing something like this is not an option, you can get a similar result with the XX-Large Chancellor Basket White from The Container Store. I use these in my pantry and closets and they are great!
Organization Hacks For Small Spaces
22. Rolling Utility Cart
I am seriously obsessed with rolling carts! They are so versatile and are great for SO many spaces. They are pretty compact yet can hold so much, which is perfect when you are dealing with small spaces.
You can use them to create a cleaning cart, snack cart, or drink station, or you can even use them as a nightstand! You can also use it to organize baby supplies and it can easily be wheeled from one room to another as needed. They are also perfect to organize kids’ art supplies, school supplies, I mean literally anything.
Currently, we use our rolling cart for my daughter’s art supplies, but that cart has served so many purposes through the years that it’s seriously a great product!
You can also find similar rolling carts at different price ranges at Ikea, Target, and Amazon.

24. Wall Hooks Are Your Best Friend
Use hooks to organize around your home, especially in small spaces. Oh, and did I mention they look super good too!

Furniture that can double as storage space is super useful when you’re dealing with small spaces. And a coffee table is a perfect piece of furniture that you can easily double as storage. You can either buy a coffee table with storage or add storage to the one you already have by adding baskets.
26. Corner TV Console With Storage
Here is another example of furniture that can double as storage! So if you don’t have a lot of storage space and/or a full wall for a TV console, go for a cornered TV console with storage.
Putting the TV console in the corner will save you a lot of space and also the storage on the TV console is perfect for organizing TV-related accessories and miscellaneous items you keep in your living room.
27. Maximize Storage With Baskets
You can’t ever go wrong with baskets. Especially super cute ones. Use them to organize around your home. Especially to organize and “hide” items that are an eyesore but need to be out and handy.
For example, I use baskets in my living room for our dog’s toys, her accessories, leashes, collars, etc. And I also have baskets for the kids’ stuff that they like keeping in the living room. But when you walk into my living room, you don’t see those stuff, you just see pretty baskets. The baskets allow you to keep items where you need them without them being an eyesore.

28. Over the Toilet Storage
If you are searching for good organization hacks for small bathroom, this is definitely one to try. Use up the space over your toilet and create extra storage with this over the toilet storage cabinet. You can store all your daily essentials here and it actually looks so good. 29. Two-Tier TurnTable
If you have a lot of face products, hair products, etc, you’re going to love this! Use this two-tier turntable on top of your bathroom sink and get all your essentials organized and at hand reach. You can also store it under the bathroom sink or inside a cabinet and pull it out when you need it.
30. Stackable drawers
If you have space under your sink, these clear stackable drawers are the way to go to get that space under the sink organized.
You can stack them up so you can take advantage of the vertical space. And you can seriously store so much with these. Anywhere from hair supplies, makeup, face wash clothes, extra toiletries, first-aid stuff, hair products, etc. Add a label on each drawer and boom, you’re all set.
I love these drawers because they look so good but also they are so versatile. You can use them all throughout your house if you ever decide to stop using them under the sink.

Use a stylish large basket to organize extra toilet paper and/or towels in your bathroom. Not only will your toilet paper and/or towels be organized, but it will look super good too! You can do a wide basket if you have a little more floor space or a tall/narrow one if you have less floor space. I use this exact one for my dog’s toys and it fits a lot, and it was at a great price too!
