Best organization inspiration:
Organization inspiration Kitchen
1. Pantry Organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
As someone with a small pantry, I have found that in order to maximize the storage space; you want to use large containers and baskets that use the entire depth of the shelves while making sure you’re maximizing the use of the vertical space available too. And you can do that by using stackable containers wherever possible.
My biggest tip with pantries is to keep your categories very broad, the broader the better. For example, a category can be “snacks” rather than “goldfish.” Another example is “breakfast” instead of “pancakes.” Does it make sense?
This a beautiful pantry organization inspiration! It’s a GREAT example of how to best organize a small, deep, narrow pantry in a beautiful yet functional way. Also, this idea can definitely work in a cabinet pantry, closet pantry, or even a walk-in pantry!
Here is another container option that I love for deep shelves/cabinets.
2. Kitchen cabinets Organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
Whether you have many kitchen cabinets or a few small or big cabinets, it doesn’t matter! This idea can be recreated in all your kitchen cabinets. You can use this same method to organize your kids’ lunch supplies, spices, water bottles, baking supplies. I mean every cabinet can be organized with these containers.
And using the same type of containers or color scheme all throughout a space will create a uniform look that eliminates the visual clutter that using too many colors or products can create. Don’t forget to label each container. Especially helpful when over one person will use the spaces.
Here are my favorite labeling products:
- Clip labels: Black | Gold | Clear
- Label Makers: Sams Club | Target
- Wooden Chalkboard Tags
- Scotch Chalkboard Label Tape
- Sanford Sharpie Poster-Paint Markers
3. uNDER kITCHEN sINK Organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
If you have a very large under the kitchen sink space, I am SO jealous! Ha-ha, JK! No, but really! Most under the kitchen spaces are pretty small, and with all the pipes under there, it makes it even harder to get that space organized. But it is possible, so do not stress!
In my experience, I have found that the best way to use and maximize storage space under the kitchen sink is by using stackable containers in combination with stackable drawers. This will allow you to use up as much of the vertical space as possible. And turntables are also a great option for spaces like this. You can use the turntables for items such as spray bottles, napkins, dish soap, and hand soap.
4. Spice cabinet Organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
Are you someone who hates countertop clutter? Then you’re probably looking for ways to better organize your spices and get them off your counter space, right? This is a great way to do just that but still keep them easily accessible.
I have mine on a turntable and have had them stored/organized this way for years! I find it makes it significantly easier to look at what you have at a glance when organized this way.
However, you definitely do not have to switch your spices into matching containers. But it sure looks more organized when you do. It’s totally out of preference if you prefer a more uniform look. Otherwise, a turntable should be more than enough to get your spices organized.
5. refrigerator organization

I think the refrigerator is one space that is the hardest to keep organized, let alone clean. Especially if you have children. Do you agree?
Trust me, I get it! But there is hope! It took me forever to find an organizational system that stuck but I did and it is seriously so easy to maintain. Check out his post, for a more detailed explanation, but I’ll summarize my main tips below.
My biggest organization tips for organizing a refrigerator:
- Use large containers over small ones.
- Use stackable containers wherever possible.
- Create zones and lump similar items together.
- Keep your zones/categories broad.
- Designate a container for your thawing/raw meat/poultry.
- Functionality over aesthetics. You can have both, but functionality should be first in mind otherwise it won’t last.
- Label zones.

6. Closet Organization
This closet organization inspiration is a perfect example of how to maximize space in a small closet. Because while we would all love to have a HUGE walk-in closet, or to do a built-in custom closet, sometimes that’s just not possible, especially if you rent. Sometimes you have to work with what you got.
I use this space concept for all three of our bedrooms closets. And my go-to products for closets, especially small ones, are an assortment of baskets/bins, shelving, and hanging organizers. You can’t go wrong with any of those. Just measure your closet and see what size baskets, shelving, etc would fit best in your closet, and go from there. Of course, purging is always a great idea before organizing a space. So I would definitely start with that first.
Baskets especially can get pretty expensive. If you take your time and shop around, you can find some pretty affordable ones at:
- Home Goods
- Ross
- TJ Max
- Marshals
7. Night Stand Organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
Is your nightstand is constantly getting cluttered up with miscellaneous items you use at night or morning? Then you’re going to LOVE this idea! I recommend creating a designated space for these items in your nightstand drawer/s. These drawer organizers are perfect for all small miscellaneous items.
Figure out what items are always ending up on your nightstand and create your categories based on that. That is exactly what I did and my nightstand is finally clutter-free.
8. Dresser Drawers organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
These are DIY drawer dividers I made a while ago. If you are up for a DIY project, check out the step-by-step here. If you prefer to just buy the drawer dividers: View on Amazon
This divider method is definitely my favorite. I have found that it’s the best way to best maximize the space in drawers. So if you have been looking for ideas on how to best organize your dresser drawers and maximize the space too, drawer dividers are the answer!
The divider helps tremendously with keeping the contents of the drawer organized but allows the use of the entire drawer and does not waste any space. I recently finished DIYing the drawer dividers for all our dresser drawers and am so happy that I finally got that done. Our drawers look so much better and we can fit way more clothing per drawer.
If you like the store-bought drawer dividers but find them a little expensive (trust me, I get it) try checking out:

9. bathroom under sink organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE
I have the same thoughts and follow the same method under the bathroom sink as I do for under the kitchen sink organization.
Use a combination of stackable containers or stackable drawers, or both. It is THE BEST way to maximize the space under ANY sink. Seriously. The. Best. And, you can use short baskets or a turntable wherever the pipes get in the way.
You can recreate this look with all stackable drawers or all stackable containers as shown here. It is really up to your preference and what works under your own sink. But also, if you are on a budget, I would choose the stackable container instead, as you can usually find these for cheap, pretty much anywhere.
Other favorite places to buy affordable stackable containers:
And sometimes even the dollar store has some good ones, just beware because sometimes the lids don’t work well or don’t last.
10. Bathroom drawers organization
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
If you have drawers in your bathroom, this is a great way to get them organized. Bathroom organization inspiration for the win! I love this idea. This is especially perfect for all those small miscellaneous items.
You don’t have to give each little item its own space. Instead, assign a category to each container and lump similar items together.
I would definitely also label each section if it’s a communal space. This way everyone knows where everything belongs and where to find what they need.
If you have deeper drawers, you can recreate the same concept with deeper containers. This would be perfect for larger items, such as hair tools, hair products, and backstock items.
11.Medicine Cabinet
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
When it comes to the “medicine cabinet” well, first of all, does anyone even use it for medicine? Because I don’t! Ha-ha! Either way, the tips are the same if you use it for miscellaneous bathroom storage or for medicine storage. Try to keep this space simple and clutter-free. Aim to only store items you actually use often.
Utilize tall containers and/or baskets to contain all your items and to keep them all nice and organized.
organization inspiration Garage
12. garage storage Shelves
RECREATE THIS SPACE:
Let’s not forget the garage! There are SO MANY super fancy garage organization products, but you really do not have to spend a ton of money organizing your garage.
Seriously! Whether you rent or own your home, you can pretty much organize your entire garage with a combination of bins/containers, shelves, and a label maker. (or marker and paper)
And I know I sound like a broken record with what I’m about to repeat! Ha-hah! But seriously, especially in a place like a garage, you want to favor functionality over aesthetics. Because if it’s not functional, it will not last.
And yes, you can definitely achieve both, but don’t sacrifice functionality for aesthetics is all I am saying. Unless that’s what you are going for, then ignore me. Ha-Ha!
