Super Easy St. Patrick’s Day Treat Bags
Tip: You can attach our St. Patrick’s Day gift tags to a yummy bag of chocolates. (as pictured above) You can also use them for a cute little green plant, a pack of rainbow markers, or even a green candle!
Below is how to put together the treat bags, as shown above.
Table of Contents
List of Supplies
- Printed gift tags – Friend and/or Teacher
- Clear treat bags
- Chocolate or candy of choice. (I used Rolo chocolate because they come wrapped in gold wrapper and look like little gold nuggets)
- String or ribbon to tie the bags
- 1-hole puncher
- Scissors
- Green tissue paper (you can also mix in gold or yellow tissue paper)
- I also added a few plastic gold coins from The Dollar Tree.
Instructions
Start by putting the tissue paper inside the clear treat bag. Then, put the desired amount of chocolate inside the clear bag. Next, cut the gift tag and punch one hole on the left side corner of the gift tag. Then, gather the bag from the top and use (the ties that come with the bags) ties to secure the tag to the bag.
Last, cut the ribbon to size, making sure the ribbon is long enough to create a bow once tied around the bag. Also, ensure the bow ends at the front of the candy bag and the gift tag ends on the right side.
Repeat the steps for as many bags as you need, and enjoy!
