Creepy Halloween Games
1. Pin The Spider On The Web
Create this creepy Halloween games idea:
Have you ever played the classic game Pin the Tail on the Donkey? Well, this is the same thing, but pin the spider on the web! The entire family will have some laughs playing this game, so definitely add this to your Halloween family games list! Are you good at drawing? You can also recreate this game with a large piece of white or black paper, tape it on the wall, and use your drawing skills to draw the spiderweb with a marker. And use spider stickers to pin. Use a white marker for black paper and a black marker for white.
2. Eyeball Dig
Recreate this creepy Halloween games idea:
Don’t mind getting your hands dirty? Then add this one to your list! You’ll need spaghetti, a bowl, and creepy eyeballs for this one.

3. Guess The Food
Grab your family and play “Guess the food!” The players must guess the food without looking at it, only touching it! You can also recreate this game by using empty tissue boxes. Use one tissue box per food item; the hole on the top of the tissue box will be the entry to feel/touch the food and guess.

4. Roll A Frankenstein
Recreate this Halloween games for family party idea:
This game reminds me of bingo, but better. You roll the dice, and depending on what number you get, you can start assembling your Frankenstein. The player who assembles it first wins! I am definitely adding this one to my list, too! And if you don’t want to do a Frankenstein, do a pumpkin, a ghost, etc.

5. PUMPKIN STOMP
Recreate this Halloween games for family party idea:
Looking for fun Halloween balloon games? Here is a fun one you can easily tweak to make it fun for kids of all ages and adults. You insert Halloween goodies into each balloon (aka pumpkin), tie them up, and start stomping them to get to the candy. Depending on the age of the players, you can decide what to put into each balloon. Happy stomping!

6. Eyeball Spoon Relay Race
Create this Halloween games for family party idea:
Get the family sweating with a Halloween eyeball relay race! For this game, each player balances the eyeball on the spoon. The winner is the one who gets to the destination first without dropping the eyeball. You can have as many players as you’d like, and they can all race simultaneously, or you can create teams too. You can also use disposable spoons and buy the eyeballs separately. This way, you don’t have to wash the spoons after each player uses them.
7. Halloween Charades
Create this Halloween games for family party idea:
You can’t have a Halloween family games list without including charades. This game is definitely a classic! And one, most people know how to play, so you definitely can’t go wrong with this one. If you enjoy playing charades, try a Halloween version of charades to get into the Halloween spirit! I am sure your family will be entertained with this one for hours with lots of fun and laughter!
8. Mummy Bowling Game
Create this Halloween games for family party idea:
Do you and your family enjoy bowling? Then you will definitely enjoy this game! It is regular bowling, of course, except the bowling kit is a mummy! How fun! If you already have a bowling set, but it’s not Halloween-themed, and you want it to be, check out Juggling Act Mama and see how she turned a plain white bowling kit into a mummy bowling kit!
9. Skeleton Scavenger Hunt
Create this Halloween games for family party idea:
Set up a scavenger hunt game! This kind of game would be especially perfect for larger families. But it’s still great for small ones. Set everyone into groups and send them off looking! You can create your scavenger hunt easily with paper, pen, or marker, and creativity. However, if you want a super easy yet creative scavenger hunt version, check out Kara Creates. She used different colored skeletons from the dollar store for her game.
If you can’t find the exact version of the skeleton at your dollar store, here are two options I found online. Not the same, but you can definitely make it work:
Minute to Win it Games
If you don’t know how to play a minute-to-win-it game, here is a brief explanation.
With a minute-to-win-it game, the player has one minute to complete the task.
For example, Let’s say the task is to get 10 ping-pong balls into a bucket. The player will have one minute to get all 10 balls, or as many as possible, into the bucket. The winner would be the one who gets the most balls into the bucket.
With that said, here are some games you can play.
10. Eyeball Pong
Recreate this minute to win it games idea:
If you have ever played beer pong, then you’re totally going to enjoy this game! Of course, this version is kid-friendly, so don’t worry. I am not suggesting you play beer pong with your kids, haha! You can set rules and a way to play this one based on what works best for your family. But essentially, to play it as a minute-to-win-it game, the player would have to land as many eyeballs as possible into the bowls in a minute. In the end, whoever landed the most wins.

11. Pumpkin Golf
Recreate this minute to win it games idea:
Check your local dollar store for the golf club set. Walmart and Amazon have a similar version, but of course more expensive. Here they are:
Play golf with the family, but with a little Halloween twist! To play it as a minute-to-win-it game, each player must try to get as many golf balls as they can into the pumpkin’s mouth in one minute. The player that makes the most wins!

12. Witch Pitch
Recreate this minute to win it games idea:
Grab the mini witch’s cauldron at your local dollar store. In case you don’t find them at your dollar store, here is a version from Amazon.
This has got to be my favorite game! And one that can definitely double as a family craft, too! You can choose how you want to play and set the rules of your game. However, I suggest scoring the players based on how much candy corn they can get into the witch’s cauldron in a minute to stick to the minute-to-win-it theme.
Check out Chica And Jo to see exactly how it was made.
13. Corn Hole
Create this minute-win-games idea:
Who doesn’t enjoy playing corn hole!? This one is not necessarily a “Halloween game.” I couldn’t leave corn hole out of the list! However, you can definitely make it Halloween-themed if you want. You can paint it orange or black and glue some spiders onto it. Continuing with the minute-to-win-it theme, the rules for this game can be that the players have one minute to get X amount of bean bags through the corn hole. And the one that makes the most wins!
PS: Remember to keep score for the minute-to-win-it games. You can have a winner for each game or an overall winner after all the games have been played.
